Brave Torchbearer

Archbishop Burke of St.Louis issued a letter to his fellow bishops bringing the canonical status of the devotion to Our Lady of America up to date. In this letter he recognizes the steps Archbishop Leibold took in fulfilling  Our Lady's request, in the active role he took in promoting devotion to Our Lady of America, as well as spiritually guiding Sister Mary Ephrem for over 40 years. Archbishop Burke goes further to recognize the loving reverence  other bishops and prelates have given to Our Lady of America by welcoming Her into their diocese. We can see the blessings coming from his diocese in the great number of new vocations, surely this is one of the fruits of Our Lady of America. God bless Archbishop Burke.
